Associate Head Coach & OL/DL Coach

2025 will be Coach Sep's fourth season as a member of the Highlander staff, and his third as Associate Head Coach and OL/DL Coach. In addition to those duties, Sep also mentors the kickers, punters, & long snappers.

During his time on The Hill, Sep has molded the offensive and defensive line, serving as the primary position coach for 10 All-Division, 4 All-County, and 2 All-BCC selections.

Prior to arriving at GL, Sep has made several stops in his decorated coaching career. His first stop was at his alma mater, Linden High School, where Sep had two stints (1983-1998 & 2004-2006) totaling 19 seasons. During that time, Sep was both the Defensive Coordinator & Special Teams Coordinator for a run highlighted by a 1985 state championship and providing tutelage for countless individuals who played football at the next level, led by former New York Jets Pro Bowl & All-Pro defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson, former Detroit Lions & San Diego Chargers defensive lineman Mike Pringley, and former St. Louis Rams & Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Roger Chanoine.

In between his two stops at Linden, Sep spent the 2003 season at Columbia High School as the Defensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach. Sep also spent two years as the Head Coach at Rahway High School (2000-2001) and one season as the Head Coach at Dayton High School (1999).

Sep is a 1982 graduate of Rowan University, where he played guard, punter, and long snapper. Sep was also a Small College Academic All-American nominee during his time in Glassboro.
